Craftsmanship
Code is read far more often than it is written. I optimize for the next engineer.
Hi, I'm Himanshu Bora
I build production-grade applications with Flutter as my main domain, and work comfortably across Node.js, Python, and React.js when a project calls for it — from healthcare platforms to agtech, fitness, and enterprise apps — engineered for performance, scale, and maintainability.

About
I'm Himanshu Bora, a Senior Software Engineer from India with 4.5+ years of experience. Flutter is my main domain, but I work comfortably across the stacks that power real products — Node.js and Python on the backend, React.js for admin tooling, and native Android when that's the right tool for the job. I've shipped production apps across healthcare, agtech, employee management, fitness, and field sales — apps real people rely on every day.
My focus is engineering quality: clean architecture, predictable state management, and codebases that stay maintainable as teams and features grow. I care as much about the structure behind the screen as the pixels on it.
Beyond my day-to-day work, I'm actively exploring the intersection of AI and mobile—experimenting with LLM integrations, on-device machine learning, and AI-powered user experiences in Flutter applications.
First lines of code
Started learning software development and built my first applications, laying the foundation for a career in engineering.
Professional Flutter career begins
Joined CloudNext Technologies as a Flutter Developer, building healthcare apps for hospitals, doctors, pharmacies, patients, and diagnostic centers.
Owning a healthcare platform
Joined Hetero Healthcare Limited as primary developer for Dr Next, a 3-app doctor–patient consultation platform with integrated video calling.
Broadening the craft
Rebuilt the Kisanwala app from the ground up at Kisanwala Technologies, then joined Accenture as a Packaged App Development Senior Analyst — continuing to sharpen my engineering fundamentals.
Code is read far more often than it is written. I optimize for the next engineer.
From architecture decisions to store releases — I own outcomes, not just tasks.
60fps is a feature. I profile, measure, and tune until apps feel effortless.
The mobile and AI landscape moves fast. I move with it.
What I do
One codebase, five platforms, production-grade. This is where I spend my days — and what I ship best.
Layered, feature-first codebases with clear domain boundaries — built so teams can scale them for years without rewrites.
Predictable state management with compile-safe providers and event-driven blocs, matched to each app's complexity.
Auth, Firestore, Cloud Functions, Messaging, Crashlytics — wired into Flutter with offline persistence and security rules.
Frame-budget profiling, rebuild audits, isolates for heavy work, and shader-jank elimination for consistent 60fps.
Method and event channels bridging Dart to Kotlin and Swift when a feature needs to go native.
Implicit, explicit, and physics-based motion — hero transitions, staggered reveals, and custom painters that make apps feel alive.
Android, iOS, Web, Windows, and macOS from a single codebase — with per-platform polish, not lowest-common-denominator UI.
Layouts that flex from phone to tablet to desktop, honoring Material and Cupertino conventions on each platform.
Local-first storage with Hive, Drift, and sync strategies that keep apps useful when the network isn't.
Signed builds, flavors, staged rollouts, and store submissions — shipping to Play Store and App Store without drama.
GitHub Actions pipelines running analyze, test, and build on every push — releases are boring, by design.
Unit, widget, and integration tests with mocked boundaries — confidence to refactor aggressively.
Currently exploring
Flutter is my core expertise. AI is a space I'm actively exploring — hands-on experiments in bringing LLMs and on-device ML into Flutter apps.
Experimenting with the Google AI SDK for chat and streaming responses inside Flutter apps.
Trying out different LLM providers to learn how each fits into a Flutter app's architecture.
Exploring on-device vision, text recognition, and translation with ML Kit.
Learning on-device inference with TFLite for Flutter, as an alternative to server round-trips.
Trying Gemini via Firebase for a simpler, auth-gated way to call AI from a Flutter app.
Building typewriter-style streaming and loading states so AI responses feel natural in the UI.
Learning the fundamentals of embeddings and vector search to ground AI answers in real data.
Exploring speech-to-text and text-to-speech in Flutter for hands-free interactions.
Thinking through caching and fallback strategies so AI features degrade gracefully offline.
Toolbox
Flutter first, always — backed by everything an app needs around it: state, architecture, data, delivery, and AI.
Skills proficiency radar: Flutter 95 out of 100, Multi-Stack 65 out of 100, AI / ML 35 out of 100, Architecture 90 out of 100, Firebase 85 out of 100, UI & Animations 88 out of 100, Testing 72 out of 100.
